Owner: Lee Hutchings
(aka Grian DeBandia)
Currently going by G.L. (short for Grian/Lee) because I was brilliantly monikered by Evn.
About: Panthea is a personal place used as a tool to keep a record of my journeys with the Goddess and to make personal connections with those of a like mind. Topics range from relevant news, everyday life, in-depth Goddess studies, and more. All things are Goddess.

Goddess Religion is an extremely positive, life-affirming, and varied spirituality with a thousand and one different ways to interpret the Goddess and her mysteries. This is the beauty of it because no one positive, life-affirming interpretation can be right or wrong and personal experience is the number one valued tool for the practitioner.
Every one of the Goddess' children is a unique individual who requires unique lessons and attention from our Mother Goddess.
This site may attempt at times to find the common threads - the universal lessons of the Goddess - and present them through the eyes of one individual practitioner, but the real lessons and answers to your questions are always within you as the seeker.
Goddessian: A term used to describe a practitioner of Goddess Religion. (var. Goddessian Paganism, Goddessian beliefs, etc.) more here
Pagan: Once a slur to describe uneducated country folk in the early days of Christian conversion; now a much debated umbrella term used to label modern earth-religion practitioners. Also used by scholars to identify ancient non-Christian people such as the Greeks, Celts, etc. (var. Paganism, Neo-pagan, Modern Paganism, etc.)
Tridea: (tri-day-a) A Goddessian tradition/denomination whose practitioners refer to themselves as Tridean.
All-Goddess: Term used to describe the Goddess in an aspect of totality, being all things and nothing at the same time.
Oneness: The some-what universal concept that all things are one; that all things not only come from the same source (Goddess) but are that source in various forms.
Completion: Tridean term describing the natural state of the Goddess and the end result of our earthly journey. (Think God-head level, Nirvana, Heaven, etc.)
Wicca: An earth based religion. Also a bit of an umbrella term (as Wicca is extremely eclectic in nature). Sometimes incorrectly used in place of "Pagan". All Wiccans are Pagan but not all Pagans are Wiccan. I would even go so far as to say all Wiccans are Goddessian but not all Goddessians are Wiccan.
Merope: Ancient Bee Goddess
Persephone: the Destroyer
Demeter: Great Earth Mother
